What is Clinisept+ and how does it work?
Clinisept+ is a hypochlorous acid skin cleanser. Hypochlorous is the same molecule your own white blood cells produce to fight infection, so it cleanses and calms the skin without alcohol, fragrance, steroids or harsh preservatives. It is widely used by aesthetic clinics before and after treatments, and by dermatology patients at home.
What is the difference between Clinisept+ Skin, Clinisept+ Aftercare and Clinisoothe+?
They share the same hypochlorous technology. Clinisept+ Skin Cleanser is for daily use on problem, oily or blemish-prone skin. Clinisept+ Aftercare is the clinic-strength version for use following injectables, peels, microneedling, laser and tattooing. How do I use Clinisept+ after a treatment?
Spray directly onto the treated area or onto a lint-free pad and gently wipe, two to three times a day for the first few days or as your practitioner advises. There is no need to rinse and it will not sting. Our clinic team use it on every patient, so do ask if you would like specific aftercare advice.
Can Clinisept+ help with acne and spots?
Yes. Clinisept+ Skin Cleanser is one of the most requested products for blemish-prone skin because it cleanses the surface, reduces bacteria and calms redness without drying the skin out, so it can sit alongside stronger actives like retinoids and benzoyl peroxide rather than replacing them.
Is Clinisept+ safe to use every day and on children?
Yes. It is pH neutral, non-toxic and non-irritant, so it can be used daily by all ages, including on delicate skin and around the eye area. Once opened, use within six months and keep the bottle out of direct sunlight to preserve the hypochlorous.
